Hello out there,

As often as I read your writing I feel like I'm more of a participant than I
actually am. One day I hope to meet a bunch of you at the national
convention.

At the risk of sounding awfully ignorant- what is the rule of thirds? I know
I've learned of it but it's been years. I would also like some sort of
concise resource on the golden mean. Anyone have reading to suggest?

Also... is anyone going to Savannah for the Art Educator's Forum? I went a
few years ago and it was SOOO much fun. What a romantic place... how
beautiful.

As for the middle school population- here's a small story. An 8th grader I
know says that when the sun becomes a red giant he's going to wrap himself in
tinfoil to keep himself from the heat. I told him he'll still cook he just
won't dry out as fast.

Italian Opera is pretty great for lessons... the stories... the drama... the
symbolism... the history. And how about Carmina Burana?
