Well, it has happened again... Yesterday I had two terrific clay projects
broken by someone who was handling them. They were on the top shelf of
the open kiln. I find it very hard to keep the kids (6 to 8th grade) from
handling objects which are drying or dry, but not yet fired. I do not want
to totally restrict their access to the kiln area. It is in one corner of
my classroom. However this is very frustrating. I am wondering how you
all handle it. I am also wondering if this clay is not as strong before
firing as other clay bodies I might be using. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. Ann in Michigan
