Fran,
I like opaque projectors for pictures from books and printed from the
computer. I use posters and the overhead, the overhead for drawing and
writing. I think posters are too far away from the kids. I haven't used
slides, I need to spend time on developing a file of slides.
I do art on a cart. I don't like the location of the opaque in the room, I
have to put it in the middle of the room to get the size of the screen
projected, then I have kids sitting behind me who I can't see. The opaque is
big, the kids behind it can't see over it. Then, when those kids move, they
do get too riled up. I want them in their desk, for behavior management.

But the opaque works the best for me, I question on foreground, middleground,
background, with various pictures. They get the concept much better than just
holding up repros.
