When I was at a workshop in CA, the CAEA conference we were using tracing
paper on Plexiglas that was rubbed with gum arabic (twice) and allowed to
dry. then the paint was applied. The gum Arabic tracing paper was taped to
the Plexiglas so we removed the tape and it was printed with a matt board
underneath for strength. It's just what I saw and did but you can do
anything you want as long as it works.
