As a former Nurse, I too have seen horrors of abuse that I care to forget
but can't. It is a perverse world out there. That is why I came back to
teaching art, which was my first college degree and vocation.
Now, I have the pleasure of teaching about creativity and beauty and to see
the joy the kids have while doing it....even the abused ones love it. If I
can give them a little pleasure for even 40 minutes a week, it satisfys me
