**What a silly piece of business. Gasoline is incredibly cheap. For little
more than a buck you can buy the fuel to carry yourself, passengers, and
goods twenty to thirty miles, reliably, in safety and comfort. Try getting
enough oats for horses at that price, never mind the lack of amenities and
need to muck out the barn!
Or try it this way: when I bought the GTO, gas was a quarter and the car
cost $3200. Today the car would run (new) 7 to ten times as much, just from
inflation, but gas is brely four times as much. People who hate big business
1) Don't get it
2) Ignore the facts
3) Get a charge out of kicking the very organizations that improve
