college info for students

Just thought I would pass this on to fellow high school teachers. I know you
can access Peterson on line. But I have a corner in which I have placed a
large magazine rack. I put college and university info in there as well as
professional magazines. I am covering the walls with posters from various
colleges, universities, and institutes. I also post current scholarship
information there. I encourage all of my students, ninth through twelfth, to
spend time in the corner learning about all the different opportunities. I
try to make them understand that they should choose further study carefully
to make sure they get the most bang for their buck and the school that best
suits them. I think I am going to add a hard copy of Peterson's.
