I only attended one paid workshop. There was plenty to do without them. But
I had signed up for many. I just didn't get them because my town didn't give
me permission to go until the last minute.

The one workshop I attended, was poorly taught, though the presenter kept
saying how we would get loads of supplies, that the vendors had given to her.
This presenter did let other people in and allowed them to use supplies to
make the projects we had paid for. It was a little, no quite irksome. Other
also were not happy with the situation. We did get loads of supplies, but
the presence of the extra people, who kept borrowing our supplies, until I
finally took out my own scissors, was bothersome.
