I had wanted to go to DC sooo badly, but since Christmas I've put in a =
new transmission and a new heating unit on the house and just thought it =
would be impossible (I'll stop with the sob story now!). Then my =
daughter had a chance to go with an A.G. group from our county (for only =
$55 plus food!) and I offered to be a chaperone when I signed her up.

So I ended up going and wanted to get to the reception but that would =
not have worked out. But I did see other NC art ed folks at the museums =
(Betti, saw you going down the steps at the Nat. Gallery) and wondered =
how many artsednetters I was rubbing shoulders with and wished I could =
have met ya'll. Maybe next time! Reatha, we're not that far apart, =
should I call this summer when down in Cherry Grove?
