Just some thought as I read your plan, which basically sounds like a good
What if they are not honest and just fill it out with the highest rating
every day? I have used somehing similar but with a numerical system so I
could add up weekly points. Our Phy Ed people use a numerical system, where
the kids rate themselves, but if it differs with the teacher's rating, they
somehow lose some points (maybe it is the average of the two scores?) Perhaps
having them write a reflective statement (What I learned today...what I plan
to do tomorrow...).for some additional points would be more valuable than
just a rating scale? I admire the fact that you are planning to tackle this
in advance! Good luck!
