$10,000 Presented To 1999 Awardees

* * An NAEA Members-Only-Benefit * *

Washington, D.C.-Executives from four firms, all long time exhibitors at NAEA
conventions, presented cash awards during the award luncheons in March at the
National Convention in Washington, D.C. Each firm contributed $2,500.00 each
and presented $10,000.00 in cash awards to the 1999 NAEA award recipients

* Chroma Acrylics, represented by Bob Hinkle, National Accounts Manager has
sponsored the awards for 14 years;

* American Art Clay Company, represented by Dave Gambel, National
Marketing Director has sponsored the awards for 11 years;

* Sax Arts & Crafts, represented by President Dick Nagel has sponsored the
awards for 10 years; and,

* Fiskars, Inc., represented by Robin Rinehart, Education Assistant has
sponsored the awards for 4 years.

The National Art Education Association congratulates these companies for
their generous support of the Association and its programs and especially for
their continued commitment to excellence in the field of art education. The
1999 member recipients of the cash awards are listed in the April, 1999 issue
of NAEANews.
