What about a ribbon or some type of attachment to your name badge?

Actually - I don't know what the NAEA name badges are like - but at the
Math conference we just had the plastic covers to pin on. This year in
Boston one of the companies had great tag holders - elastic necklaces and
nylon zippered pouches - big and small. There was a clear vinyl window to
put your name tag in. Presenters, etc., wore ribbons and pins attached to
that. The color and the design of attached ribbons signified different
groups (my husband had one for his Presidential Award, a NASA program
etc...) it seemed to work great.
