*Face&Neck-Save the eggshells from eggs. wash them out and let them dry. Draw a face with hair and shoulders in a profile on a sheet of thick paper. Spread glue over the face and neck, then squash the eggshells onto it,the darker sides of the eggshell up.
*Fill any gaps with small bits of eggshell and let dry. Now cut out the profile.
* Glue lines of beans and seeds of pod bearing plants(peas and beans)onto the shoulders to make a striped shirt. Spread glue between the lines and spread lentils to fill the gaps. When glue is dried shake off.
*Paint a piece of thick cardboard as a background for the portrait. Make sure that it is big enough for the head and shoulders. When dry, glue the profile to the cardboard.
*Make hair by gluing corn silk, dried pasta, bark or coconut fiber to the head.
*Make a necklace from sunflower seeds, glue on a bean for an eye, decorate the hair with small pine cones, and stick pressed flowers onto the background.
Option: Go on a nature walk to collect things to put in. If your in an urban area and can't find a park then raid the kitchen.
Visual option: I like to have slides going or
put up prints on the subject many.
In this case different profiles from different
artists, also things which are made from nature might be an inspiration.
Hope you can read as my husband changed our composition program and now it includes a whole bunch of fun fonts. However I don't know how to make it normal so don't be mad please.
Skadoodles,
