As many districts do at this time of year, mine is beginning work for a
summer committee to rewrite our current currriculum guide. This is the
first year that our elementary art teachers have had a possibility of
adopting student textbooks along with the curriculum package.
I would be interested in any elementary teacher's experiences with using
student textbooks in grade 1-5. I also teach in a Spanish-speaking area
and some of the supplemental materials are translated, but the textbooks
are not. Has anyone had experience with this issue?
