Dear Pat,
Yes, the Getty videos help in many ways. I use them for inspiration and critique with my art education students at Calvin College and find endless sources of learning for the students and for me. The ideas make me want to add time to the course or add another semester, because they are related to life. You can use the videos with elementary school children and secondary students too - again to inspire their thinking about a theme, a way to critique art, or how to image visiting an art museum for starters. The lessons done by teachers in their classrooms are credible and model respect for strong social behaviors. Enriching information in the accompanying books lay in you lap the questions that you can ask and items for thought. I hope that you find these as helpful as the teachers with whom I work and learn.
With joy,
Helen Bonzelaar
