Dear Kieran, Our school has a PTSA organization that started up this
year and we finally decided that a good fundraiser would provide
a help to any program--art or otherwise. We had a lip-synch--we
got about 20 groups of kids, a group of teachers (doing YMCA) and
even the mayor and 3 city councilmen as the beatles. It was
hysterical--everyone had a good time--we raised about $3000 and
many plans for next years show.
One of our local elementary schools
PTO organization purchases a professional frame (maybe it was 4??)
per year of a student work and it hangs forever in their library so
that they are building a nice collection of student work that is
really well done.
