The changed conversation on this list

Hi everyone on this list. I have been a part of Artsednet for a very long
time and I am sad to see how it has changed. First of all I do not
understand the need to be rude and it seems to me quite many people are
just that. I think we need to respect everybody and try to make sure we
donīt hurt anyones feeling. My grandmother used to say when I was a child
that if I had nothing good to say to anyone maybe it was better to say
nothing. I have both enjoyed and learned a lot from this exchanging of
ideas here on Artsednet and I would like it to continue to be that way. Yes
we donīt have to agree with everyone and may even like some less than
others but so it is in everyday life and but we can still try to be polite
to all. What about the positive criticism we teach our students, we would
never let them go on the way some people do on this list. I really hope we
can get back to discussing some valuable art education related material and
stop this bickering. Best regards from the far north, Rosa
