In response to Jrauning's subject "Seemingly hopeless net search" for art
education sites, I would like to share with everyone two sites that are really
This one is a list of links on art education topics and lots of wonderful
sites useful to art teachers. Includes the NAEA site ( and
The Art Teacher Connection. Anything you could want on art education topics,
newsletter, etc. So great it will take you a while to look through it all.

If you are using Netscape, when you get to a page of links you can choose from
the VIEW menu "Document Source" and see all of the html coding for that page.
This contains the actual URL's or addresses for the links. I copy that part
and paste it into a new word processing file (like Word 5.0) and later go in
and remove all of the html and leave the addresses. That way I have a document
I can print or save anywhere on my computer as a reference list of sites. I
have different files for sites on several topics. Just a suggestion for those
of you (like me) who see great stuff all over the place but don't always have
time right then to look up all of the links.

Happy hunting,
Amy Metcalfe
