Just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about the passing of Linda
Mc Cartney and all the other women who have and still are fighting the
battle of Breast Cancer. As I approach 40 I do think about the Test's
and the big "C". As a child I remember a friends mother dying of cancer.
In the 60's with the war dead on the T.V. nightly I didn't associate
this woman as dying yet I knew in my own way she was. I still see her in
Black and white lying in bed looking like Gloria Swanson with a turban
on her head and then she was gone as was the old man who walked his
dog,the older brother of a friend and the woman who shoveled her
driveway. We have come so far but I just wanted to say something about
all the courageous people out there who fight diseases everyday, most of
course not as prominent as Linda Mc Cartney and some who are.
To Linda's Husband, Children and Family ,My condolences.
