I made several casts of my own hands but first as there were some problems.. I
am a male with a fair amount of body hairs and the hair on the back of
my hands and fingers got embedded in the wax. So when I tried to get
my hand out of the way glove. the hairs stuck.. I had to insert a
pointed knife into along each finger and sever the hairs.. The
subsequent casting had hair on each finger!!!!
The next problem was I had to insert a pin into each wax finger to
allow air in so i could remove the glove..
That resulted in pin marks on each plaster finger tip..
Then i found I had to shave my hand.. For week after I had a bald
hand where the arm hair suddenly stopped at my wrist... I eventually
made a cast while holding a pencil.. The pencil remained in the wax
and was there when I cast the plaster.. I mounted the hands on a small
wooden box and then applied several bandaids as this seemed to
represent my artist hands and the amount of small damage I seem to
do to them regularly.. My son , daughter and wife also cast their
hands after letting me do all the experiments.

nbsp; What does NBSP mean... There was a lot of it at the bottom of
your message!!!
