I am an artist that specializes in "Therapuetic Art." This does not delve as deep into the person as art therapy does. I do feel that real art therapy should be left to the specially trained professionals. Try some therapeutic art instead. Keep it light at first. Ask about happy and sad. You will be amazed at the response of someone just taking an interest and listening to the students! P.S.
