Hello everyone within Saint Lawrence professional semester! I can say that
I am a little excited about this much anticipated break, looks like it will
be great weather also. Well the professional semester is going extremely
well, for all of you TEACHERS in any discipline I would just like to say
treat your student teacher the way that my cooperating teacher has treated
me. With mutual respect, as a peer, with positive reinforcement and
constructive criticism, he has taught me to relax, be less ANAL about most
things that we all stress about as student teachers... you all know what
those things are, planning, lesson plans, etc... I fyou have good ideas
then do them! If your classes suggest something to do and you are able to
come up with a project around the idea DO IT! I have found that it worked
great to do the things I would like to do with my students. My cooperating
teacher Christopher Todd has taught me some valuable lessons about life,
students, and teaching. To all teachers please treat your future student
teachers with all of the good qualities so that they can be as successful
as they can be. I know I will be successful because of my great experience
here at Norwood-Norfolk High School in northern New York. Thanks---Only 2
1/2 weeks left everyone!
Make it worth it!
