re.-scratch art- Anne & others

Anne,
You were interested in a different theme for your scratch art. I'm
just throwing this out as an idea. If you've done it or not interested
toss this out. Anyhow here it goes- my 6th graders have a lesson which
incorporates line, optical illusions and Bridget Riley. Doing a design
on the scratch board to a Riley -like design might work. The
"scratcher" needs to be a medium point for this age group. Let me know
if you need more info. or if you try it and how it goes. My 6th graders

think the Riley designs are pretty wild and fun ( and they get to learn
about an artist that isn't dead!). Good luck!
