I found a useful source for art history teaching materials (K-12). The Los
Angeles County Museum offers a wide range of topics and eras.

Here is the description from their web site:

Resource packets for teachers are produced by the Education Department
at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for Evenings for Educators and
other special teacher's programs. Designed to provide elementary and
secondary school teachers an opportunity to improve their understanding
of the visual arts and enhance their ability to incorporate the visual
arts into their curricula, the packets focus on special exhibitions or
thematic selections from the museum's permanent collection and contain
six color slides (unless otherwise indicated), an introductory essay
with comprehensive slide descriptions, film notes, bibliographies, and
lesson plans. Packets cost $10 each. For orders of five or more the cost
is reduced to $7 each.
