This is part of how I work year round. I set my own hours and only do what I
love doing. It's my answer to staying home with my children and still making
some money. I'm sure it would work for just summers for you.

Check with the colleges in your area, both public and private. And also check
out the museums, (Art, Public, Children's, etc.) Most have outreach programs
designed for adults and children. They are always interested in new quality
programs (if you have a specialty--pitch it to them!) They pay a decent
hourly wage if they think you will be an asset to them.
