RE: school art videos

I second the thought that "Masters of Illusion" is a good video. Not only for
the middle school but also high School.

Another video that we use every year is "Why Man Creates" by Saul Bass.
It's a pricey 40 minutes but is a document that will never go out of date and
never fails to entertain and provoke deep thinking among students about the
act of creativity. Instead of an individual school purchasing a copy, perhaps
the district or a consortium of schools could get together to come up with the
close to $200 price.

We also like the James Burke's "Connections" series which connects Art,
Science, and History into an intriguing web of discovery and adventure.
