Massiel: It is great to hear from fellow art educators in other parts of the
world!

In answer to your question about contacts for art education courses--there is
a magazine called "School Arts" 1 800 533-2847 located in Worcester, Mass.
that addresses a lot of issues about art education and an excellent guide for
resources. Many times they list names of schools that offer art education
courses. I think one of their spring issues--maybe March--has a special
article on art education programs around the country. At the moment I can't
find my spring issues. Another organization you may want to contact is the
National Art Education Association (NAEA), 1916 Association Drive, Reston, VA
21191-1590. Phone number is (703) 860-8000.

I don't have the number of the school you inquired about, but listed below
are numbers of schools I picked up at the recent NAEA conference in New
Orleans--Ringling School of Art and Design, Sarasota, Florida 800 255-7695,
Memphis College of Art, Memphis, Tennessee 800 727-1088, Maine College of
Art,
Portland, Maine 800 639-4808 -- web site http://www.meca.edu/gdmeca

There are tons of additional schools I just don't have access to their
numbers at the moment.

Good Luck.
