Re: premature Burnout ??

Thanks for the reality check on the burnout topic. I found it helpful and
encouraging to hear from you on the topic. I have yet to teach full time.
This fall I'll be doing my student teaching.

It sounds to me like too many new teachers accept the term 'burnout' to
readily without having really been out in the 'trenches' long enough to
make this kind of judgement.

You're right! We all have to pay our dues first. Let's keep in mind that:
One person's 'burnout' is someone else's normal day-to-day activity --
or "ARTivity" as someone once said..
