Dear Kira, I teach 8th grade students and I find that they love to work
with Fractal Dabbler and Creative Artist. I also have adobe illustrator
and fractal Painter, but these programs involve a lot of my time. The
first two I can show kids how to use in 1 minute--or tell them they have
to figure them out and they can--they are thrilled with them--however I
don't necessarily get any good work out of them because I only have one
computer in the class and I let them use it when they have spare time.
The problem is mine--I've never figured out what to do with the other 30
kids while I spend time carefully instructing one. I do love Dabbler and
I think it has super possibilities but I have a constant problem of it
locking up the computer. I keep having to restart which , I'm told ,
could corrupt the file or even the entire windows program. I'm using a
wacom pad to draw with it--Does anyone have any suggestions? Sid
