I had goals. At thirty I was to quit teaching art and go to the studio.
I did but instead of the studio I opened up a new program for special ed
kids. I fell in love with teaching and run my studio on the side eight
years later change back to art when I asked for an old shop building to
reopen the art department. I've looked on teaching art as one of my
sculptures. If I get bored or burned out on an element I inject life
into it. Add GT kids here Prisoners there Do alarge sculpture there buy
new kiln shelves there. Go visit young college teachers find what they
want for students. Go visit Bill And Betty at the Texas Tech Center aT
Junction. Watch others inthused by their art and life.

If all else fails wake up in the morning and watch the sun rise and walk
away mumbling to yourself "I wished I had painted that".
