The art teacher who teaches with me in our elementary school is having her third observation in the coming month. It appears the principal is not happy with her work this year. This is the year she can be dismissed. Next year she will have been the end of her third year and then dismissing her won't be so easy. It's largley a case of the pricipal not really liking her it's not that she's not a good art teacher. At least that's my take on it.
I feel so sorry for her and I have been looking for lesson plans that we can go over and set up for her observation. It's going to be a second grade class and the lesson must be started and completed in the 50 minutes. It would be helpful if some literature went with it or even some math. I have searched through some of my lessons and have a couple that I am going to give her to look over. Does anyone have any lessons that might fit the bill? Literacy is the key here. This principal likes it when you can tie in books and other subjects. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
