For those who want to learn more about Sugimoto, or for those in the

(this online exhibit was posted before)

The Sackler is featuring Sugimot's art collection. There's an online exhibit
http://www.asia.si.edu/exhibitions/current/Sugimoto.htm and a podcast
interview as well.

From the site:
"Comprised of more than 80 works, 'History of History' juxtaposes
Sugimoto's own photographs, selected from the artist's well-known
series of seascapes, natural history dioramas and wax museum figures,
with an enormous range of traditional Japanese and ritual artifacts
all drawn from Sugimoto's private collection."
