Catherine, you make me wonder about applying paper pulp around a balloon to make a bowl. Or maybe to pat the pulp into another plastic bowl, and pop it out when dry. Hmmmmmm

I've seen the papier mache rice paper bowls made with dried flowers(
daisies) and they are beautiful. You could by a bag of rose hips to crumble
