Hi,

I am getting back to you on this late because I was away for part of this
week. I noticed that someone mentioned my students' video work and my class
web site.

I checked out the apple site and the project is similiar to what I do. I
strongly urge you not to let the students do bloopers. I saw that on the
apple site and I let my students do it at first and found it too much of a
distraction. They get into shooting bloopers and waste time and energy.

Before the project i have the students research artists and they have to fill
out a form that asks for 4 questions and the responses from the artist.

I also review camera angles and typical interview shots.

The students are informed that the grading is based on how informative the
interview is and the technical aspects of the interview.
