Dear Catharine,
      I'm sorry you are going through such a hard time. Hopefully, science
will find the answers and keep more people from becoming ill. Staying in is
hard--and it is also hard to reassure children when they are truly in danger.
 My only comparable experience was our sniper crisis in October, and i know
it is awful to walk around afraid--especially of something you can't see.
Fear can be so paralyzing. My prayers are with you, your family, and your
students.
