We are pretty limited with glazes because of lead content. In ele. we can only use certain glazes. However, I sneak in a flame or christmas red or orange for sculptures with older students. I do have to say, the sunburst underglazes from amaco are really nice. The snapdragon and tulip red are very nice reds. Too bad they don't come in larger containers! I like the crystalex glazes, but don't use them in my classroom too glitzy! I use them in my extension and after school programs.
