What a great idea, Linda! I already have a box of different kinds of magnets (from old science kits) and boxes of "treasures" (junk really). I'm going to go through the "treasures" with a magnet:) I'll add them to my tubs of Legos, tinker toys, Thinga Majigs, Lincoln Logs, etc. Even my too cool 5th graders never get tired of building with that stuff.
