I'm sure you are not talking about Thomas McKnight, but he has done
gazillions of prints (posters) that are views through windows. Several
years ago, I purchased a book with about 100 great illustrations of his
work that I have cut up to use in class as inspiration. Strange thing
is, I've never used it. BUT, next year just might be the year to do a
little Matisse/McKnight inspired paintings of "through the window."
Hope you find your bas relief book..sounds interesting.
