Linda,
I sort of did. I saw a value collage at the state fair a few years back and
it always stuck with me.
I know middle schoolers love to do portraits and so I did an internet search.
I ran across an illustrator who does them for a living.

So from corresponding with this awesome gentleman, I came up with a lesson.
The John Singer Sargent part was my own because he's my favorite and he has
awesome values.
