It just occurred to me that I HAVE done altered books!!!
When I was little, around 4 or 5, I remember my grandparents giving me an old grey pages telephone book, so that I could draw on the pages with some red and blue colored pencils my grandfather had in his desk.
When I was around 6, I acquired a pan of watercolors. I asked my mother for the old telephone book. I think I painted every page imagining I was in heaven.
