Sun Painting

I am trying sun painting for the first time.
I bought unbleached muslin sheet 50/50 poly cotton.
I am wondering if anyone has used this on this blend. The instructions say
100% cotton is better but you can only spend so much and this was available.
Has anyone used interesting masks on it?
