keeping pumps open

I am catching up on posts, so forgive me if this is redundant. I've found
leaving the pumps on the paints year round works best. I keep the opening
during heavy use by inserting a large paper clip (that has been unfolded) into
the nose of the plug. If a clog develops you can pry it out using this bit of
wire.
