I write (incise) the student's name and teacher code on the bottom
myself.......... I just explain to them that I can read my own writing in
clay better than any one else's.
It really does not take much time, they bring me their piece , then they go
back to clean up their work area . I teach k-5 and we usually spend just one
day on a clay project. I do all my intro. and demonstrations the previous
class . Then I can have everything laid out when they come in. I do a 2-3
min. review and they begin.
