As always good ideas, good advice, and great support from the list. I
probably knew the answer to the question when I asked but wanted the
validation to say no. I will use the label/letter ideas. I did connect to
Van Gogh and O'keefe also used photos, silk flowers, a real iris. And your
advice is on target: part of what bothers me was the comment "hurry and
finish" a misconception that all projects are just a one class product. I
had started sending kindie notes to the parents first quarter for the very
reasons you all explained, but was overwhelmed with volume of work to
create the projects, the lessons and the prep for 9 different grades
levels and so I stopped. I do realize that it is part of what it takes to
be recognized as more than just a babysitter. Your comments are all
appreciated.
