Uses for oil pastel "stubs"?

Date: Tue Apr 16 2002 - 16:24:05 PDT

How about using the stubs to make butterflys on the paper by squiggling them
up and down holding the centers and then watercoloring the background with
blacks or blues. Then can also frame the background with a single print of
tempera paint and sewing spools, cut out pencil erasures, etc. to make it a
real use of old materials. Cut out hole puncher holes with glue work well
too! Sorry with only 5 1/2 weeks of school left we get pretty nutty!
