I like the idea of asking a candidate to walk you through a lesson plan. I was
recently asked some interesting questions in my process of interviews

a) Describe a mentor relationship you have had.
b) Have you had a memorable student?
c) How do you use technology in the classroom -- or -- do you use technology in
the classroom?
d) Your view of censorship in the classroom.
e) How do you start the semester?
f) How do you evaluate student work?

What I would be most interested in (in an interviewee) would be how they picture
the ideal working relationship and/or school -- that would provide for me
tremendous insight into whether or not there might be some congruence in our
potential of working together. I would also want to know how they picture our
school and what they know of it and the population that attends this particular
school.
