How about binding cut sheets into books and creating sketch books? Students
could gesso, paint or draw on the textured surfaces.

Home Depot just gave our high school art depart boxes of rolls and rolls of
all kinds of its discontinued wall paper. Its all still in wrappers. Most
of it has a pattern of some kind. We also got a bunch of wall paper
borders. Do any of you have ideas. We probably have enough to give every
student a roll of his own.
