Woody-
I know it may sound crazy, but I DO use kraft paper instead of inking trays!
The extra time saved is worth so much to me! I see my classes for 40 minutes
once a week (or less, with chorus and other seasonal interruptions) and there
are 730 students each week! So, cutting down on clean up time is necessary.
On top of that there is a policy in place this year that gives students ONE
minute to change classes! Needless to say I have NEVER had a full 40 minutes
with any class. I don't see it wasting too much ink, but I have found the
need to use a permanent marker to define the pallette, or the ink gets rolled
all over, and that is wasteful. Hope this clears things up.
Robin
