OT - computer help needed!

The other computer, the PC - P133, the one I use while my kids use the
high test model, the one I save everything on, the one we've used since c.
1996 without major problems, did I mention the one I save EVERYTHING
on and didn't learn how to back up? ... that one quit!!!
I got some AOL error message about tools and it froze ...
I did the usual Ctl-Alt-Delete which didn't work and then I turned it off
and rebooted (?) ~ which usually makes it happy again, but not this
time... it gets to the Windows '95 screen and just sits there...
Any advice on how to proceed? Find that start-up floppy thingie
in the basement somewhere? Thanks for any help!
