Beth,

One area where technology is really helpful is in sharing visual with the
students. I have been doing more and more PowerPoint presentations for art
history. It saves lugging in a lot of heavy books and I keep it in the
classroom so students who were absent or need reinforcement can go back by
themselves and review the PowerPoint.
